Local Projects, in collaboration with CityLore, is developing City of Memory, a map-based interface to an archive of stories about New York City. City of Memory is scheduled to launch in late 2006.

I created the dynamic mapping backend using a combination of open-source geospatial software and public-domain data, as well as more traditional cartographic illustration software.
